Started shipping business with China shortly after the restoration of diplomatic relations
between China and Japan. |

Introduced the entire stainless steel (SUS) on the sea routes to China.
Built vessels specialized in coal tar transportation resulting in shipping over 200,000 tons
of coal tar and carbon black annually.
Transported over 200,000 tons of edible goods such as ethanol from China per year.
As Owner, reached an agreement for long-term charter of LPG vessels with Honam Oil,
Korea and Pertamina, Indonesia. |

Started to build 1,000DWT to 9,000DWT chemical tankers almost every year to open a
business with Southeast Asia, following with China, Korean and Taiwan.
As Owner, entered into contracts of long-term charter of newly-built LPG vessels and 16,000DWT chemical tankers with American and European shipping companies. |

To meet current market needs and Oil Majorsf requirements, shifted into full-scale
replacement of old chemical tankers with new ones, IMO type II, III and SUS 316L,
ranging from 1,000DWT to 19,000DWT capacity with heating and nitrogen equipments in
conformity with international regulations.
Engaged in transporting as many as 60 different types of liquefied cargoes including
high-pressure gas, flammable liquid, combustible material, poisonous material, caustic
material, and so on.
Achieved over 600 calls at Chinese ports annually by focusing on China with its outstanding economic growth.

Established a joint venture corporation, SU Navigation PTE.LTD.in Singapore , by sharing equal capital ratio with Uyeno Transportation Transtech Ltd. to cover the Middle East area expanding from Far East and South Asia. |
